No More Cravings

by Kristin

I’m not the only person who probably has this problem. Constantly on the move, scattered brain, incredibly messy and when I’m hungry, I’m hungry.

With all the travel that I have found myself doing the past couple of years, I often do not have time to have a proper meal which satisfies my taste buds.

Airport food, fast food, train snacks and no good choices available where I am when I’m hungry.

When I realized that this was happening I made the ultimate decision which was to put on my chefs hat and start making some homemade granola.

Full of all the vitamins and minerals that you need on a daily basis.

Here is the recipe of my homemade super crunch granola:

  • plain oatmeal
  • shredded flaxseeds
  • chia seeds
  • plain unsalted nuts of your choice (cashew nuts, almond nuts, walnuts)
  • cranberries (sugar-free)
  • sunflower seeds
  • sesame seeds (roasted)
  • cinnamon
  • coconut oil
  • agave syrup
  • 2 tsp water

  1. Mix: oatmeal, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, crushed nuts, cinnamon
  2. Heat up: 2 tsp of coconut oil, 2 tsp of agave syrup, 2 tsp water
  3. Mix everything together and let everything bake for 15min at 200 degrees in the oven. Add a handful of each cranberries, flax, roasted sesame seeds and bake for another 5 minutes.

Let cool off, enjoy with fresh berries and some greek yoghurt for breakfast or as a snack in between your busy schedule.

Store in a glass jar to keep the aromas

Enjoy!
